Where Do I Get $esMU?

You can get $esMU by staking $MU on Mu's staking page. This will grant you $esMU tokens.

What Is $esMU?

Escrowed MU ($esMU) is paid as emissions to staked $MU holders. $esMU can be used in two ways:

• Staked for rewards, same as usual $MU

• Vested to become standard $MU tokens over one year

Vesting $esMU would require locking the amount of $MU used to earn $esMU for a year. For example, if a user earns 10 $esMU through staking 100 $MU, 100 $MU must be locked to vest 10 $esMU. Similarly, if a user decides to vest 5 $esMU, only 50 $MU must be closed. Locked $MU counts as staked $MU and will continue to accrue rewards typically. Vesting occurs linearly.

The mechanism is designed to fully protect holders from mercenary capital and ensure that users who support the platform are protected, incentivized, and retain power in future governance.
